"I got the belly to baby package to capture my pregnant belly and my newborn. Laura was suburb, her pictures are flawless, and she became a friend, not just my photographer. We spent a long (but fun) afternoon at the Clear Creek Trail. I was big and pregnant and less than graceful. But the pictures came out magical. When my baby was born, she came over to the house so we didn't have to leave with a newborn, and spent the time waiting for him to fall asleep and get into a good mood. The miracle of a new baby is a treasured time, and our favorite to capture. We take our time with your little one and are experienced with preemies and NICU newborns. Its best to schedule your newborn session during your pregnancy to ensure a spot on the schedule, within the first ten days of life while they are still new, happy to be curled up and ready for nap time during photos. Most often sessions are on-location where we can set up poses with simple props as well as lifestyle images of parents and your newborn. "After seeing the photos Laura took of my nephew and hearing how comfortable she made his parents, I couldn't resist setting up newborn pictures for my baby. Comfortable is an understatement for the way that my husband and I both felt during our newborn session. Laura's demeanor with babies is one to be envied. I thought my baby was "un-swaddle-able" until I watched Laura's finess (since watching her, I've been able to swaddle my baby!! I am thankful for Laura during long nights!). The set up that she brought to our home also put me at ease; heaters, heating mats, and very comfortable blankets for the baby to lay on. "Truly amazing memories captured in a photograph. She personalizes your sessions every step of the way and brings every prop you can think of. Not to mention every comfort for the little ones to feel at ease with their first ever photo shoot. Between the heating pad and the moveable space heater my house must of reached 90 degrees at our newborn shoot. However I did say that my little guy hates being naked and I didn't think he would pose for the great photos that I had seen posted on her website. However, Laura was able to capture my man squeeze at his best because he was comfortable. She matches up colors and themes of your likes or nursery styles and also has the most darling hats for the little ones to wear as well. I was always jealous of all the cute little hair bows and flowers for little girls, but never have I seen these darling stocking hats for boys.
